About Carmel School

Carmel english school under Sri Nandi Rural Education Trust (R) established in 1989 with 25 students. Carmel english school has been imparting quality education to the backward and rural village students for 30 years. It is one of the leading institutions in the devanahalli taluk with low fees structure.

The management has taken keen interest to bring the students according to the need of the society and nation. Majority of the past students from carmel english school have become engineers, doctors, teachers, and business men. They are working in india as well as in abroad.

Our mission is to provide a high quality multicultural education environment for the rural students, in which each student is expected to succeed within the bounds of their abilities and chosen educational goals. They achieve holistic growth and become socially responsible and active global citizens with an appreciation of learning as a lifelong process.

Motto

The school motto “Realizing potentials” is the Clarian call for scholars at Carmel English School. We encourage our leaders to discover their passion and decide their goals in life with an economic budget the year through. We encourage them to find the joy of learning and make life a very mindful and meaningful experience. We help our learners, discover who they really are and enable them to do what they love.

The future of mankind depends upon the education imparted in school. It is a place where men of tomorrow are trained and disciplined. School plays a major role in moulding the ideas, habits and attitudes of the children. School moulds the young minds to become well balanced personalities with culturally sound, emotionally stable, mentally alert, morally upright and vocationally self -sufficient.

The most important and urgent reform needed in education is to transform it according to needs and aspirations of the people and thereby make it a powerful instrument of social, economic and cultural transformation necessary for the realization of the national goals.

Our mission is students centered, realistic, and consistent. On this occasion I extend my gratitude to the parents, kind hearted, generous and noble donors for their cooperation to our institution and souvenir, Sri Nandi Rural Education Trust (R) 2008.

Report of the Carmel English School: 2007-2023

I am pleased to place before you the annual report of carmel english school which is working under Sri Nandi Rural Education Trust (R.).
The current annual report demonstrates the new leap of development, innovative activities, impact and achievements.
The school is situated in the rural area and majority of our students come from the poor village back ground. The motto of the school is to provide quality education to the rural village students and cultivate good moral character, discipline and working nature of the society.

Brief history of Sri-Nandi Rural Education Trust(R.)

Carmel english school established in 1989 under Sri Nandi Rural Education Trust (R.) with 25 students. The school had its own building in 1991. The school was upgraded to high school section in 1994. Shantinikethan public school and Sri Nandi Rural D.Ed. college started in 2007.
The strength of students increased year by year. At present, the strength of the students in the institution is 1000. Carmel english school secured cent percent result in the S.S.L.C board examination from 2003-2023.
